Top 7 New(ish) SEO Blogs You Need to Be Reading

The signal to noise ratio has always been an issue with my SEO reading… as time goes by I find myself spending much less time at the forums or on “big general SEO news blogs”… but when one of my “trusted 25″ (Rae, Rand, Gray etc. etc.) refreshes I can hardly wait for the new post to load in Bloglines :-)

In the last month I noticed I’ve added quite a few new SEOs to my Bloglines–it’s cool to see so much fresh blood in the SEOsphere (who aren’t yet tired or burnt out on blogging) sharing their tips and ideas (or old hats who have only just started blogging). Here are seven blogs that I think everyone should be adding to their Bloglines (and FYI by “new” I mean “new”, “newish” or “new to me”). In no particular order:

  1. Scoreboard Media. Awesome post: Jason Calacanis: Charlatan Douchebag
  2. JazzcatSEO. Awesome post: Defensible Traffic
  3. Abhilash. Awesome post: Do You Really Want that #1 Ranking in Yahoo??
  4. ConvertUp. Awesome post: 10 Golden Rules of SEM
  5. SEOEgghead. Awesome post: The Special Olympics of Link Bait
  6. SEOassassin. Awesome post: Sometimes the simple questions are the best
  7. John Andrews. Awesome post: Looking Back at the SEO Year Gone By

I started reading this blog a while back just because I like the name. I had no idea who the author was. I just thought to my self… With a name like “Tropical SEO”, it must be a winner.

Hawaii SEO,

Wouldn’t you know — I can say the same thing about you :-)

Andy,

Thanks for the love. I had a blast checking out the others on there too. It’s hard getting into the habit of blogging constantly. I’ve got like 50 half-completed yet super interesting posts sitting in my “drafts”…

“Living the dream”… hmmm… and that looks like my neighborhood in the masthead… Andy are you sure you’re not trying to move out to Cali??

Not Cali, the taxes and cost of living are too high… somewhere else warm though :-)
